BEACH, Ida D. Zender, age 34, of Glacier Star Route, passed away in a local
hospital, Tuesday, Feb. 7, (1961) following an extended illness. Mrs. Beach had
been a life resident of Whatcom County and was a member of St. Peter's Catholic
Church, Columbia Valley. She leaves to survive her husband, Roy; one son,
Douglas A., both of the family home, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Zender of
Glacier Star Route; two brothers, Joe Zender of Glacier Star Route, and Henry
Zender of the Mt. Baker Highway; seven sisters, Mrs. Angela Linderman and Mrs.
Frances Larson of Glacier Star Route, Mrs. Lucille Macdonald of Route 2,
Everson, Mrs. Agnes McEwen, Mrs. Helen Jenkins, Mrs. Rosalia Jenkins and Mrs.
Louise Tyler, all of this city. Rosary will be said Wednesday, Feb. 8, at 8 p.
m. in the Chapel of the Westford Funeral Home. Requiem mass will be said
Thursday, Feb. 9, at 10 a. m. in St. Peter's Catholic Church, Columbia Valley.
Interment Columbia Valley Catholic Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St.
Joseph's Hospital Chapel Fund. Active pallbearers Pete Zender, Bernie Zender,
Dick Zender, Dale Beach, Francis Beach, Ralph Beach. Honorary pallbearers
Raymond Beach, Harold Beach, Kenneth Linderman, Ted Larson, Kern Macdonald,
Jerry Jenkins.
