Valentine was born on January 19, 1888 in Buffalo, New York to Louis Adamczak and Teofila Siwinski. In March, 1919, Valentine was sentenced to 3 years in federal prison for inducing two boys to rob shoes from a commercial car in a train. He was confined at United States Penitentiary, Atlanta in South Bend, Fulton, Georgia for "violating interstate commerce laws." Valentine's penitentiary number was 9302. His incarceration date was March 17, 1919 and his release date was October 23, 1920. Valentine died on May 14, 1947 in Dunkirk, New York and is buried in St. Hyacinth's Cemetery.
