Pauline was the daughter of Maude Belle (Franks) Meyer and Frederick Meyer. She was the 5th great-granddaughter of Revolutionary War Soldier, Henry Valentine (NSDAR #A116839). She was the great-granddaughter of Civil War Soldier, John Boyer, who was a Prisoner of War. She married Lawrence Schaub on June 15, 1927. Pauline was a hard worker who held over 25 different jobs in her lifetime ending with a 10-year stint at Toledo Scale prior to her retirement. She and Lawrence made their home at 1120 Brookley Blvd in Toledo, Ohio where they raised a daughter, Shirley Jeanne. Pauline had a half-brother, Ralph Cook, and two siblings, Frederick Meyer, Jr. and Margaret Meyer Arnold.

Pauline is buried a row over from her in-laws, Phillip and Edith Schaub, closer to the street.
