Fred Edward Bihr, 75, died at 9:08 a.m., Thursday, March 15, 2012, at West Vue Nursing Center. He was born October 19, 1936, at Thermopolis, Wyoming, to Fritz and Merle Clark Bihr. On December 2, 1966, he was married at Okinowa, Japan to Toyo Ikihara. Mr. Bihr was raised on the Pitchfork Ranch, near Meetatse, Wyoming. After graduating from high school, he joined the United States Marines where he served for twenty years. He was a Deputy Sheriff in Worland, Wyoming for eight years, worked as a truck driver for several years for Halliburton, England and Prime, and had been a truck driving instructor for West Plains R-7 Schools. Mr. Bihr loved traveling, woodworking and especially enjoyed making dollhouses. He loved his Scottie dog, Sam. He will truly be missed by his family and friends. Mr. Bihr lived his life in the light of the Lord.

He is survived by five children, Fred, Farmington, New Mexico, Cathy, Evanston, Wyoming, Sandra, Madison, Wisconsin, Amy, Cheyenne, Wyoming and David, Missoula, Wyoming and a special friend and companion, Betty Reed, West Plains, Missouri.

His parents, three sisters, Louise, Hazel and Shirley and one brother, Arnold, precede him in death. A memorial service will be announced at a later date and will be held at Worland Cemetery, Worland, Wyoming.
