Vivian Marcain was born June 24, 1931 to Prella and Martha Sheridan Smith in Grapeland, Texas.

She united with Brewington Baptist Church at an early age and was a member until her death. She attended Grapeland Public Schools. She married Vernon King and to this union one son was born.

She was perceded in death by her parents, three brothers: JB, (Marie), Apolphus (DollY) and Edward (Willie).. Five sisters Helen Shepherd (James); Inez Jackson (Joe Henry); Arvella Taylor (James) and Fannie Smith.

She leaves to cherish her memory One son, Leo King,Sr.(Cynthia) of Houston ,Texas. Two step-sons: John and Michael McKee.
Four grandchildren, Fenita Pointer (Damon),Dedra McCullough and Broderick Sandles Sr. all of Crockett, Texas; Leo King Jr. of Seattle Washington and seven great grand children.
Two sisters, Evon Washington and Mary Phillips (Robert) of Houston.
One aunt Matilda Smith (Willie) of Longview, Texas.
