OBITUARY: Mary Annabelle Queen Black (1882-1950)

Mrs. Mary Annabelle Black, 67, a Phoenix resident 42 years, died Tuesday, September 26, 1950 at St. Monica's Hospital.
She was the widow of Christopher Black, pioneer Arizona rancher, and a member of Central Methodist Church.
Mrs. Black, who lived at 317 East Mulberry street, is survived by two sons, John and Robert Black, both of Phoenix; four sisters, Mrs. Ethel Minsch of Phoenix, Mrs. Cordelia Raines, Mrs. Susan Coward, and Mrs. Vena Lusk, of North and South Carolina; a brother, Robert Queen of North Carolina, and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 30th in Merryman Funeral Home chapel. Dr. Charles S. Kendall, pastor of Central Methodist Church, will officiate.
Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Phoenix.
