Florence Inez Frazell, daughter of William Wolfram Dubbs and his wife, Mary Elizabeth (Coy) Dubbs was born on January 3, 1888, on the family homestead in Cameron Township in north western Hall County. Her father was a Civil war Veteran and was the second pioneer to homestead in the vicinity. Inez was the 13th of 14 children born in the family and at her death, the last survivor of the 5 girls and 9 boys.
Her education included 8 years in the Dubbs School, District #13, and 2 years in Wood River high school. In her sophomore she was called home by the serious illnesses of her mother and father. After their deaths she enrolled in the Kearney Normal School acquiring a teaching certificate. The following year was spent teaching school north of Odessa.
On June 22, 1910 she was united in marriage with Eugene Freeman Frazell at the rural Burkerd home on June 10, 1910. To this union were born the following:

After the death of her husband on October 1, 1957, Inez left the farm north east of Shelton and in 1963 took residence in the Merrick Manor in Central City, Nebraska where she resided for 14 years. The remaining 2 years was spent in Bethesda Care Center, Central City.
A strong Christian faith was embraced early in her life and she joined the Northfield United Brethren Church in Jackson Township. Later she joined the United Methodist Church in Shelton.
She was a kind, loving devoted wife, mother and grandmother and helpful neighbor. Her reverence for nature and growing things was most evident and her creative ability will long be remembered. Inez died at Central City August 14, 1981. She was age 93 years, 7 months and 11 days. Services were held on Monday, August 17. Tributes to the memory of her life were given by Granddaughter Wauneta Nitzel and neighbors Reva Headley and Verle Dority. Soloist was Angeline Klein, Granddaughter. Casket bearers were grandsons.
Survivors include one son, Delbert of Shelton, Lois Ramsey of Shelton, Avis Sitorius of North Platte, Rosalie Lippincott of Central City, Marjorie Pinkerton of Tryon, 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, a sister-in-law, Lura Soderstrom in California, and many nieces and nephews. An infant daughter preceded her in death.
Interment was beside her beloved husband in the Cameron Cemetery
