My Grandfather Lewis Kniel Jr was the only child of Lewis Kniel Sr & Agnes Hoey.
Lewis Sr was the second oldest child one of William & Mary Kniel's 6 children, who were all born in LaSalle, Illinois. Mary & William were both born in Germany.

Lewis Sr died in Detroit, MI; but I do not know where he is interned. He lived in Detroit from 1913-1926, sometime after his divorce in 1926 he moved in with his sister, Mary in Iowa. He again lived in Detroit from abt 1940-1951.
***I never knew anything about his Family, or that he had any living relatives until a few years ago.

My Grandparents met at Madison Electric in Detroit, where they both worked. Lewis Jr worked there until his death and Amy worked there over 50 yrs.
