Joseph Antonelli age 82 died in New Haven November 19, 2011. He was the husband of the late Patricia Esposito Antonelli. He is the loving father of Patricia Condon, Robert Condon (wife Roseanne), Gina Antonelli, and Joseph Antonelli Jr., all of Branford. He is Grandfather (Pops) to Jennie Fresa (husband Doug Jackson), Joseph Fresa, Kathrine Hunt and Max Condon. He is survived by his brother Jerome Antonelli (wife Carol) of East Haven and Anthony Antonelli (wife Sandra) of Wallingford. He is the beloved Uncle to 15 nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers and sister Frederick, Francis, and Lucy Antonelli.

Mr. Antonelli was born in New Haven on August 10, 1929, a son of Silvio and Mary DeNegre Antonelli. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and was a store manager for First National in New Haven. He was a member of the Annex YMA in New Haven. He had resided in Branford since 1965, after having previously resided in New Haven.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 at St. Mary Church in Branford. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery in North Haven. Friends may call Tuesday from 4-8 P.M. at the W.S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main St. Branford.
