Marie V. Baughman, age 92, of Harrison, passed away Saturday, August 11, 2012, at her home. She was born September 8, 1919, in Zinc, Arkansas, the daughter of Emery and Henrietta (Retta) Roberts Brown. Along with her parents, Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Baughman; her son, Delbert Baughman; and infant son; and a grandchild.
Marie enjoyed going to church, gardening, researching family history and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed visiting her old homestead in Zinc. Marie never met a person she didn't like.
Marie is survived by her four daughters, Vineta Dixon and her husband Jim and their children, Mike Dixon, Allan Dixon, and Tammy Marshall; Lolita Rogers and her children, Terri (Rogers) Jones, Gary Kenneth Rogers, Dianne Rogers and
Bruce Rogers; Rita Jones and her husband John and their children, Lisa Watkins, John Hilary Jones, Kevin Jones and Christopher Jones; and Tina Dandurand and her children, Hailey Dandurand and Ethan Dandurand.
Marie is also survived by twenty one great-grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Juanita Hopkins, of California; several nieces, nephews, and other family; and many dear friends.
Marie enjoyed going to church, gardening, researching family history and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed visiting her old homestead in Zinc. Marie never met a person she didn't like.
