James T. Markham, 48 years old, in charge of the paint department of O.A. Birr Motors, Inc, fell dead of heart attack yesterday in front of 1247 Calhoun St, from Work.
Mr. Markham came here from Evansville in 1920. He was in charge of the paint department of the Motor firm from the last five years.
Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Juanita 'Boos' Markham; three children, Mrs. Martin O'Brien of Muncie and James Markham Jr,and Miss Marjorie Markham of Indianapolis; the mother, Mrs. Nettie Markham; a brother and sister in Louisiana, Mo, and two grandchildren, Marlene O'Brien and Robert Joseph O'Brien.
Funeral services will be held at 8:30 o'clock Tues. morning in the home and at 9 o'clock in the St. Catherine's Catholic Church, Where Mr. Markham was a member. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
Members of the Holy Name Society of St. Catherine's Church will meet at 7:30 o'clock tomorrow night in the home.
