Bob was a people person and friends were very important to him. Bob had a brilliant mind and could do anything. He built a beautiful log home in Island park where he and Maxine spent their summers and then wintered in Yuma. It was in Yuma that he was diagnosed with Lung Cancer and on March 6th 2015 he returned to his Father in Heaven after a long and wonderful life. He will be missed by all, especially those who called him Grandpa Bob.
Bob is survived by his wife Maxine, his five children, two step children and lots of grand and great grand children. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Betty, brother Wayne and ex-wife Arnelle.
The Viewing and Services will be held on Monday March 16th in the Camp Williams Chapel where he will be laid to rest. The viewing will begin at 11:30 am followed by the services at noon. At 1:00 the Camp Williams Military will honor him with a well deserved Full Military Burial. Funeral Services are provided by Serenity Funeral Home of Draper Utah 801 255-2801.
The Family would like to thank anyone who had a hand in his final days, especially the VA and the Yuma Hospice.
