Sailed in 1844 with her parents (age 4) from Liverpool England to New Orleans La.then up the Mississippi to then Morgan County,Ill. removing to Brown County in 1854.

Perry served in the Civil War with the
18th US Missouri Infantry Company G
from 1861-1864. Faught at Shilo, Island #10.
Nashville TN. Helena Ark. Alanta Georgia
was in most of the major battles in these states.
He mustered out at Chattanooga TN.

After Eliza died he took his 4 girls,in the Spring of 1887, to homestead in Stanton County Kansas near Edwin, later removing to Red Fork, Indian Territory, now Oklahoma
Perry is buried in the Old Covey Cemetery North of Sapulpa, Creek County Oklahoma.
