David Beach is the son of Rev Nathaniel Beach and Sarah Groves Porter. He married Hannah Sherman (1695-1772)in 1716 and had at least 5 children: Hannah, Jabez,Ephraim, Elnathan, and Eunice. His father, grandfather (John Thomas Beach, Jr) and great grandfather (John Thomas Beach Sr) were all ministers.
