Mrs. Doris M. Coon, age 80, died Friday, March 23, 1990, at St. Francis Home. She was born in La Crosse on Feb. 4, 1910, to Hendricks and Katherine (Kramer) Klaus. She married Russell F. Coon on Nov. 24, 1932, in La Crosse. Mrs. Coon was an employee of the La Crosse Rubber Mills for 40 years before her retirement.
She is survived by three daughters, Patricia D. Henry of La crosse, Janice M. Weber of Seattle, WA, Kathleen R. Huecker of La Crosse; a son, Richard H. of Waukesha, WI; 10 grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Russell, on March 4, 1977.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation; the body will be cremated. The family requests memorials to the American Heart Association. Blaschke Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
