Frances T. Lemmon Parnell, 96 of Oklahoma City, OK passed away on September 14, 2012. She was born on August 16, 1916 in Rocky, OK to John Henry Robert Willis Lemmon and Nancy Etta Bellah-Lemmon. She married Oscar Clyde Parnell on January 19, 1934. Frances was a child care provider from 1961-1996 in Oklahoma City. She was a member of Oakcrest Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar, three sons, Donald Parnell, Thomas David Parnell and Edwin Lee Parnell; all of her siblings, John Hickmon Lemmon, Minnie Bell Lemmon-Cox, Anna Mae Lemmon-Kelley, Maudie Lee Lemmon-Miller, Martha Alice Lemmon-Cox, Ray Theodore Lemmon, Lillie J. Lemmon- King, Nealy Pearl Lemmon-Walls, Verna Beatrice Lemmon-Butler, James Willis Lemmon, Jessie Marie Lemmon, Ernest Marvin Lemmon, and Daisy Fern Lemmon; two grandchildren, Pamela Kay Parnell, and Kenneth Lee Parnell; one great-granddaughter, Chassity Brooke Nabors. She is survived by three daughters; Glenda Lewis of Enid, OK, Aline Kemp of Oklahoma City, OK and Neva James-Halak of Fort Meyers Beach, FL; seventeen grandchildren, Rick Parnell, Vicky Francis, Sheila Carlton, Tammy Weston, Terrie Rousey, Michael Downs, Michael Kemp, Rita Kemp, Shawn Kemp, Ron Parnell, Kay Sanders, Loren James, Becky James, Jolline Troy, Linda Lake, Keith Parnell and Jill Parnell, twenty great-grandchildren; Sam, Kristi, Olivia, Joey, Ashley, Katie, Erin, Beau, John, Brian, Steven, Adam, Brian, Amber, Magan, Makayla, Chasie, Nicholas, Anthony, Juliette and Jillian; fourteen great-great grandchildren, Rachel, Joshua, Niki, Tristen, Summer, Aiden, Nicholas, Michael, Gavin, Haydon, Brittany, McKinnley and Cora. Services will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2012, at 2:00 PM in the chapel at Sunny Lane Funeral Home, 4000 SE 29th Street, Del City, OK. Burial will follow in Arlington Memorial Gardens at 3400 North Midwest Blvd. Memorials may be made to Grace-Brookwood Living Center, activity fund, with Sunny Lane Funeral Home serving as custodian.
