Robert Louis Peeler, 56, was the son of Aubrey Lee Peeler and Anna Catherine "Kathleen" Heathcott Peeler. Because his mother, Anna Catherine, died early in his life, Bob was loved and raised by his stepmother, Modena Brown Peeler.
Married his wife, Barbara Williams of Paducah, Ky. in Evanston, Ill. in 1956.
He adored his three daughters; Cheryl [Donald] Vowles, Caryn [Jim} Cogar, Cynthia [Michael] Brevik. Also his two sons; Robert Jr. and Gary Peeler.
His grandchildren meant the world to him, Amy Beth Cogar, Jimmy Cogar, Maghen Brevik [married Abrahn Sotello after his death], Ashley Peeler, Shelby Brevik, and grandson, Garret Peeler [who was born after his death], Brant Vowles, Donnie Vowles and Donielle Vowles Fuller.
He would have loved his darling great grandchildren, Abigail Sotello, Gabriel Sotello and Stella Fuller [All gt. gr-children born after his death]. Two other gt. grandsons, Landon Michael and Mason Robert were born 2014.
Robert was also survived by a brother, Charles Peeler of Mayfield, Ky. Sister; Lila Faye [Versal] Gale {deceased}; a step-brother, C.L. Brown; step-sisters, Doris Jones, Nadine Goodwin and Ima Sue Brown.
Robert passed away at home in Michigan, Aug. 5, 1992 with his family at his side. He is missed everyday and loved forever.
His children; Robert Jr., Gary, Cheryl, Caryn, Cindy and grandson, Jimmy, were pallbearers. Sons in law; Jim Cogar, Donald Vowels and Mike Brevik, also his brother; Charles, were honorary pallbearers.
