AUGUSTINOVICZ, Henry J., Ret. U.S. Air Force, a long-time resident of Dover, Dela., passed away July 24, 2011, in Abingdon, Md., at home.

Mr. Augustinovicz was born Jan. 12, 1921, in Pittsburgh, Pa., to the late Bolslaw and Louise Augustinovicz.

Prior to joining the Army Airforce in 1942 he served in the three Cs. In 1945 when the Air Force became its own branch of the military he proudly served his country and retired after 21 years in the U.S. Air Force.

After Mr. Augustinovicz retired from the Air Force he worked for 20 years at General Foods as the Plant Maintenance Supervisor. He was a devoted husband, loving father, and a proud veteran.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Evelyn Augustinovicz (nee DeVilling).

He is survived by two daughters, Pamela Wilkerson, and her husband, Charles of Milford, Dela., and Laura Orsini of Abingdon, Md.; a grandson, John Orsini and his wife, Tara of Bel Air, Md.; two granddaughters, Lisa Orsini of Fallston, Md., and Kathryn Wilkerson of Fallston, Md.; and a great-granddaughter, Beatrice Rose Orsini.

A viewing will be held at family-owned and operated Evans Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services, Bel Air, 3 Newport Drive, Forest Hill on Saturday 2-5 p.m. Burial will occur with his wife at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery with Full Honors.
