Douglas Corbett argyle, 72, passed away Sept. 24, 1992 at his home. He was born Oct. 13, 1919 in Bancroft, Idaho to Thomas M. and Mary Jane (Mamie) Corbett Argyle. Married Thayle Mann Oct. 13, 1947 in West Bountiful.
He was a charter member of the Davis County Fire Department for 25 years and a Utah National Guard, with 22 years of military service.
Survived by his wife and children, Mrs. Thomas R. (Mary Ann) Mickelson, Kaysville; Mrs. W. Wesley (Carol) Hatch, Layton; D. Brent Argyle (Denise); Brenda Caton, Centerville; Brady M. Argyle (Kathryn) West Bountiful; Tracy M. Argyle (Ruth), Kaysville; 14 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters, Clarence C. Argyle (Opal), Spokane, Wash; Dean C. Argyle (LaRue) Centerville; Jane A Page, West Bountiful and Mrs. Stuart M. (Evelyn) Winegar, Bountiful.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Sept. 26 at 1 p.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main. Friends may call Friday evening 7-9 p.m. and one hour prior to services. Internment: Bountiful City Cemetery.
