Alfred Alonzo (Lonnie) Burt was the son of William Jasper
(Will) Burt and Lee Ollie Hayes Burt.
He married Flora Hazel Munn 1940 in Lauderdale County, MS.
They had six children.
He served in WWII as a Staff Seargeant.
He enlisted 26 June 1944 at Meridian, MS and was mustered in at Camp Shelby, Forrest County, MS. He was married at that time.
He died by drowning.
