Mrs. Marlene Ann, 57, Kingsport, Tn., died Thursday, April 18, 1996 at the Johnson City Medical Center Hospital in Johnson City, Tn.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a native of Louisiana and the daughter of the late James L. and Thelma L. Lowman Hicks.
She was also preceded in death by 1 brother, Larry Hicks. Mrs. Benedict was a homemaker.
Surviving: husband, Edward B. Benedict, Kingsport, Tn.; 3 sons, Donald R. Reed, Nixa, Mo., Richard J. Reed, Bethany, Ok. and David B. Reed, Oklahoma City, Ok.; 1 sister, Janet Korincko, Chino Valley, Arizona; 1 brother, James Wallace Hicks, Oklahoma City, Ok.; 6 grandchildren, Dustin Reed, Kelly Early, Daniel Reed, David Paul Reed, Robert Paul Reed and Austin Early; 2 stepsons, Richard Benedict, England and Benny Benedetto, Kingsport, Tn.; and 1 stepdaughter, Marie Benedict, England.
Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 20, 1996 at the Memorial Gardens, Oklahoma City, Ok. with Pastor David Howe officiating.
