FRANCIS BRODERICK
Requiem Mass for Francis Broderick, of 3235 NE 42nd Ave., will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Rose Catholic Church, with burial in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. A Rosary will be receited at 7:30 p.m. Friday at teh Zeller Chapel of the Roses. Mr. Broderick, a Portland resident for over 60 years, was born in Byron, Minn., Aug. 9, 1885, and died Thursday in a local hospital. He was the owner of the F. D. Broderick Insurance Co., founded in 1909 and a member of the Knights of Columbus adn the Aero Club of Oregon. He is survived by two sons, Donald and Robert C., both of Portland; one brother, John of Sacramento, Calif.; and two sisters, Mary Marshall adn Rose Johnson, both of Rochester, Minn. Friends may make contributions to Fr. Kennard's Peruvian Mission. (The Oregonian, 17 Feb 1967)
