Honore "Henry" Olivier Bertrand was born on 11 Apr 1882 in Ste. Scholastique, Deux-Montagnes, Quebec to Olivier Bertrand, Jr. and Basilice (Neveu) Bertrand. He died suddenly while working on a ranch on 9 Jul 1928. The family assumed he had died of sun stroke, but his death certificate lists cerebral hemorrhage.
