Frederick Feddeler, 86, who lived in northeast Kansas 60 years, died at 10:15 o'clock yesterday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Charles Henson, 2 1/2 miles southwest of Potter. Death was due to senility. Until three years ago Mr. Feddeler was a resident of Atchison.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow (Tuesday) afternoon from St. John's Lutheran church at Potter. There will be a short service from the Charles Henson home at 1:30 o'clock. Burial will be in St. John's Lutheran cemetery. Sawin & Douglass are in charge of arrangements.
Frederick Feddeler was born at Hanover, Krieslueneburg province, Germany, August 23, 1852. He was united in marriage to Miss Dorothea Bullermann in Hanover, December 13, 1877. Mr. and Mrs. Feddeler came to the United States in 1878 and after living in Illinois for a year settled near Millwood, Kansas. They bought a farm near Oak Grove school in the Millwood community where they lived for 28 years. In 1914 Mr. and Mrs. Feddeler came to Atchison to make their home. She died here on January 18, 1917. Until 1935 the family residence was at 823 North Second street.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Charles Henson, Potter, and Mrs. H.M. Sowers, Atchison; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Two sons and two daughters died in childhood. Mr. Feddeler had a host of friends in Atchison city and county.
