Helen and Oscar had two children:
Helen Jean (1925-2012) and Oscar Robert (1936- )
Helen enjoyed many activities including crocheting, playing cards & bingo, reading, and betting on horse races. She was very lucky in cards, bingo and picking speedy race horses. She was superstitious, and believed that finding a 4-leaf clover would bring a person luck. She had a close family relationship with her husband and children, with all of her sisters except Florence, and with many of her aunts and uncles. She had many long-lasting friendships over the years.
