Henry Conrad was the eldest of two sons born to Heinrich & Anna (Pfeiffer) Görg, who had emigrated separately from Germany to the United States in the 1880s.
In the mid-1990s Henry attended Military School. The name is unknown.
In the 1910 US Census, Henry P. George, his wife, two sons (including Henry), were listed as living in Queens County, New York City.
When he was a young man Henry Conrad and his brother, Oscar had a double date with the showgirl Mae West and a friend. It is not known which of the brothers was May's date.
Henry had married in about 1908 against the wishes of his parents. Research indicates that his wife was the former Valerie Libschik.
Henry's parents had purchased both a movie theater and a duck farm for him.
Henry was reputed to have died in 1917 of Pneumonia.
Funeral services were held at the Bates Funeral Home.
He was originally buried in the Nazareth Section of the Evergreens Cemetery in plot #10967. His remains were moved , on October 5, 1917, after the death of his father, to the family plot #841 in the Mount Hebron Section of that cemetery.
