Funeral services were held Friday afternoon in the Lamprecht Chapel for Frank C. Duderstadt, 73, who died Thursday, June 9, 1960, at 2:00 o'clock P.M. at his home after a long illness. The Rev. T. Leroy Christensen, pastor of the First Methodist church officiated at the services in the chapel and at the graveside. Burial was in Westside cemetery. Pall bearers were M. W. Haun, L. C. Duderstadt Jr., Buster Billings, Tom Polan, Albert Duderstadt and Sid Lord Jr. Frank C. Duderstadt was born May 28, 1887 in the Rocky community near Nopal, one of 15 children of the late John Duderstadt and his wife Jane Davis, pioneers of that community. On Dec 29, 1908 he was united in marriage with Miss Eunice Cobb, the Rev Walter McKinney performing the ceremony at Smiley. The couple lived on their ranch near Nopal until about three years ago when they moved to Yorktown. Four children were born to the union. Mr. Duderstadt, who was a widely known rancher and cattleman, was a member of the Westhoff Masonic Lodge and of the local Hermann Sons Lodge. He is survived by his wife, a son, Alton J. Duderstadt of Tyler, two daughters, Miss Georgia Fay Duderstadt of Yorktown and Mrs. Quinten (Wilma Jane) Edwards of San Antonio, two grandchildren, two brothers, Lem Duderstadt of Yorktown and George of Harper, and four sisters, Mrs. Ima Barfield of Cuero, Mrs. Sid (Ura) Lord of San Antonio, Mrs. Jeremiah (Mattie) Ward of Poteet and Mrs. Newt (Nannie) Nichols of Fredericksburg. He was proceeded in death by a son, Norman, three brothers, Henry, John and Andy Duderstadt, and three sisters, Mrs. Tom (Amanda) Polan, Mrs. Will (Lillie) Billings and two sisters who died in infancy. He attained the age of 73 years and 11 days-DeWitt County View Jun 16, 1960

Frank was one of 15 children born to Christian Christoph Johann (John) Duderstadt and Jane Davis Duderstadt. Franks' twin sister is Mattie Jane Duderstadt. Frank was a very large man who was a cattle rancher. He married Eunice Olga Cobb on Dec 30, 1908 in DeWitt County by W. M. McKinney.
