Married Mary Frances Armstrong
on January 22, 1860 in Johnson County, TX.

Enlisted in Tarrant County, TX
May 1862 in Griffin's Infantry Battalion

November 1864 was merged into 21st TX Inf. in which he served in Co. C.

Discharged in 1865. He was home sick on furlough when the war ended.

He had been in General Hospital (Brenham) since Sep. 13, 1864.
Died of Pneumonia at his home in Cleburne, Johnson County, TX.
