She was born in Plain, on Feb. 8, 1922, the daughter of the late Robert and Anna (Ringelstetter) Alt. She was united in marriage to Norbert Breunig. He preceded her in death in 1991.
She is survived by three children, Ronald (MaryLou) Breunig of Prairie du Sac, Lynda (Dale) Schoepp of Sauk City, and Randy (Donna) Breunig of Sauk City; six grandchildren, Traci (Bobby) Rauner, Amanda (Joe) Murphy, Dorothy (Brian) Kelly, Nicole (Art) Ayala, Misty (Guy) DeMarco and Karissa (Jake) Mundt; seven great-grandchildren, Karly, Jack, Kaylin, Justin, Tony, Amanda and Sophia; six siblings, Alma Frosch, Marie Kolan, Katie Breunig, Helen (Elmore) Schulenburg, Hezzie Alt and Daniel Alt (Lucille); and many nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, she preceded in death by two sisters, Celia Hemberger and Clara Roos; five brothers, Carl, Herb, Leonard, Robert and Louis Alt.
A Memorial Mass will be held at ST. ALOYSIUS CATHOLIC CHURCH, Sauk City, at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 30, 2011, with Father Jared Hood officiating. A visitation will be held at HOOVERSON FUNERAL HOME, Sauk City, from 9 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 30, 2010. Interment will be in St. Aloysius Cemetery.
