Naomi Mae Beene, born on June 13, 1934 to Henry and Linnie Irene Howery in Minco, OK, passed from this life on June 7, 2007 after a long illness. After graduation from Minco High School in 1952, she moved to Oklahoma City. She married the love of her life, James Thurman Beene, on July 27, 1963. They had two daughters, Carol and Paula. Naomi was a faithful member of SW Church Of Christ in OKC. Anyone who knew Naomi knew that she was an avid 'garage-saler'. She didn't look for things at the sales for herself, but for items to help others who might be less fortunate. She always put others before herself. Naomi was predeceased by her parents, husband, brother and sister-in-law, L.D. and Iris Howery. Surviving her are daughters, Carol Bellman and husband John, Paula Bailey and husband Shawn, grandchildren, Gage Bellman and Hannah Bailey; and many other loving relatives and friends. She is greatly missed, but we are happy knowing that she is no longer in physical pain or distress. Carol and Paula wish to thank all the many wonderful caregivers that have helped us over the years. We appreciate you more than you will ever know! Memorials may be made to 'In Search Of The Lords Way', Edmond, OK or Alleve Hospice in Oklahoma City. Funeral services will be 10:00am Wednesday, June 13, 2007 at Southwest Church Of Christ with burial in Evergreen Cemetery in Minco, Oklahoma.
