Mrs. Texann Riddle Cheek, 86, formerly of 1410 Elm Drive, died yesterday at Bethany Retirement Home after a long illness. She was a native of Waterloo, S.C., and came to Lakeland from Laurens, S.C., in 1923. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, where she was active in the T.E.L. Class.
Survivors include her husband, Walter G. Cheek; four sons, William F. of Lakeland, Robert C. of Fort Myers, C. Arthur of Tallahassee, and W. Harold of Ocala; four daughters, Mrs. Walter E. Engle and Mrs. Margaret Mitchell of Lakeland, Mrs. H. M. Richardson of Norris, Tenn., and Mrs. William H. Daniel of Tulsa, Okla.; a brother, Wallace Riddle of Charlotte, N.C.; a sister, Mrs. Lola Owen of Atlanta; and 15 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow morning at 10:30 o'clock at the Dukes-Steen Funeral Home, with the Rev. Arthur W. Rich, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Burial Park.

RITES FOR MRS. CHEEK
Funeral services for Mrs. Texann Riddle Cheek of 1410 Elm Road, who died Wednesday, were held Friday morning at the Dukes-Steen Funeral Home, with the Rev. Arthur W. Rich, pastor of the First Baptist Church officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Burial Park.
Music was provided by Mrs. Arthur Rich at the organ. Pallbearers were Horace Gibson, D. H. Sloan Jr., M. A. Tyner, Pat Flannagan Sr., Raymond Taylor and Dean L. Hart.
