Mary Elizabeth Underwood Parsons died March 5, 1932 at age 79 at the home of her daughter in Covington, KY after an illness of several weeks. She was the widow of Willis H. Parsons and had lived in Covington for many years. As a member of the Methodist Church, she attended each meeting regularly, often braving the worst of weather. She was survived by her daughters, Ella Preston and Anna Walls and sons, George Parsons, Calmeas Parsons and Napoleon Parsons. Services were conducted at the J. A. Ball undertaking establishment in Stanford and burial followed in Buffalo Springs Cemetery. Taken from The Interior Journal, Stanford, KY March 11, 1932.
