Mrs. Sarah Lady, mother of W. M. Lady, died in Chicago Friday and was brought here Sunday for burial. Her death was caused by typhoid pneumonia after about two weeks illness. She was 76 years old, and for 54 years had been a member of the M. E. church. This had been her residence for some time, until three years ago, when she went to Chicago with her son, W. M. Lady. Funeral services were held in the M. E. church at 1:30 p.m.
