Hugh Brown, 94, of E Grandview Ave, West Lafayette, died at 1:05 am today at the West Lafayette Care Center after a time of failing health. He was born August 3, 1890 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, the son of William and Ruth (Smith) Brown. He retired in 1963 from Jones Metal Products Co of West Lafayette. He married Blanche Luke February 6, 1918. She survives. Also surviving are two sons, William S Brown of West Lafayette and Daniel Brown of Newark, two daughters, Mrs Jack(Virginia) Zinkon of Baltic and Mrs Harry (Doris) Krohe of Delmont,Pa. seven grand-children and 17 great grandchildren. One brother and two sisters preceded him ih death. Funeral service will be 1 pm Wednesday at the Given Dawson West Lafayette Funeral Home, with the Reverend William Norman officiating. Burial will be in Fairfield Cemetery. Friends may call 7-9 pm today until time of service Wednesday.
