Elisha came west from New York with his parents in 1837. The 1860 & 1870 census all are living in Ingham Co., Michigan. The 1880 census show them living in Lamoille Valley, Elko, NV.

Elisha Dakin, wife and son Stephen, all formerly of this township died recently in Neveda.
Note: There was a big flu epidemic during this time peroid.
Old Neveda records list him as Elijah, but his name was Elisha.

Elmer b. 1857 in Michigan shows up in 1900 & 1910 Idaho Census living with his sister Rosa Dell
