RONALD DEAN EMBERTON was born March 10, 1910 in Sullivan County, MO; the son of Joseph Daniel and Mary (Cummins) Emberton.
He was united in marriage to Lorine Frances Albertson on April 13, 1929 at Sidney, IA. To this union two children were born. After 53 years of marriage Lorine preceded him in death on August 27, 1982. On October 15, 1983 he was united in marriage to Bernice Grable at Hamburg.
Ronald was a farmer and livestock buyer. He was a ringman for many area livestock auctions and was a 50 year patron of the Omaha Stockyards. He was an active member, elder and teacher of the Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Bernice of Hamburg; a son, Loren Dale Emberton of Hamburg; a daughter, Sherrill Bryant Lowman of Granger, IN; step-daughter, Janet Athen of Rockport, MO; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; other family and friends. Along with his wife Lorine, he was preceded in death by a sister, Leonora Ipsen and an infant brother.
Ronald Dean Emberton died October 1, 1999 at the Grape Community Hospital, at the age of 89 years, 6 months and 21 days.
Funeral services were held October 4 at Rash-Cude funeral home with Pastor Russell Crum officiating. Interment was in Mt. Olive Cemetery.
