Hazel Lucille Caldwell, 87, of Candler, died on Thursday, January 2, 2014, at her home, where her daughter took loving and excellent care of her.
She was a native of Buncombe Co., and was a daughter of the late Clyde and Ruth Sharpe Owenby.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Caldwell.
She owned the Mnt. View Drive-In in Candler. She was a loving mother and aunt, and her family loved her dearly.
Her family will receive friends at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave. from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. on Sunday followed by a graveside service at 2:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery.
