She came to this country from her native land at the age of eight years, with a party of emigrants, unaccompanied by any member of her family, crossed the plains in 1853 and located at Brigham, making her home with Mr. and Mrs. Ensign. Later she came to Salt Lake City, where she was residing when she was married. Mr. and Mrs. Charles S. Bagley became parents of ten children, as follows: Alice, who died at the age of six years; Edward C., who is engaged in ranching at Cottonwood, Utah; Andrew H., owner of one of the finest and one of the first large fruit orchards of the state at East Mill Creek, Utah; Maynetta, the wife of Samuel A. King, of Salt Lake City; Grant C., who died at Provo in September, 1917; Julia B., of Salt Lake City; Frank E.; Mrs. Estella B. Cutler and Mrs. Zola B.
