Memorial services for Calena Anderson, 53, were Saturday Oct. 20 2012, at the First Lutheran Church in Savage with Pastor Neil Lindorff officiating. Internment of cremains took place in the Savage Cemetery under the direction of Fulkerson Funeral Home.
On Dec 4, 1958, Calena Rose Sifers was born to Sam and Roselia(Gunderson)Sifers in Sidney, she was the youngest of six children. Calena attended schools in Savage and Sidney.
On Sept 3 1977, Calena was united in marriage to Michael Anderson, They met at the historical Triangle Nite Club. Calena and Michael moved to Savage in 1979 where they remained there until health issues forced them to move to Billings in June 2011. They just celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary. They have two children, Misty and Jeffrey Anderson.
Celena is survived by the love of her life, Michael Anderson, Billings, a daughter; Misty(Jamie)Anderson, Sidney;son Jeffrey(Kaja)Anderson Billings; granddaughters Kaylee Bahls, Lynise and Alyaua Anderson; mother in law and father in law Dewey and Ethel Anderson, Worthington, Minn; sisters Carol(Bill)Struckman, Savage, Kay(Jerry)Price, Savage, and Janet (Melvin)Croxton, Bowie Texas; brothers Pete(Joyce)Sifers, Sidney, and Jeff Sifers of Las Vegas, Nev.
Calena is proceded in death by her parents, Sam and Rosella Sifers, and longtime friend Jenny Petersen and Lennis Stiener.
