While in high school he was active in Pre Engineering, Latin Club, Track, CSF, Publicity Committee, Social Committee, Legislative Council and Letterman's Club. He was owner of Wessel Air Conditioning in Burbank. Survived by children Douglas, Susan, Jill and Ryan.
