Mrs. L.D. Dallas Died Early on Sunday Morning
She had been a resident of Outagamie County for
fifty years - Funeral to be held Tuesday

Mrs. L.D. Dallas died Sunday morning at 1 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Len F. Bushey, Pacific Street. Mrs. Dallas was 79 years of age. Her son, Alexander W. Dallas died Wednesday, January 9, and was buried Friday.

The funeral of Mrs. Dallas will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the home of Len F. Bushey, 582 Pacific Street. The Rev. F.T. Rouse of the Congregational Church will be the officiating clergyman and will be assisted by the Rev. H. M. Moore of the Presbyterian church.

Mrs. Dallas was born in Delaware. She came to Wisconsin in 1857 and lived in Freedom until 1880. In that year she came to this city and lived here until about a year ago when she went to live with her son, Alexander, at Seymour. Her husband died thirteen years ago.

Mrs. Dallas was a member of the Congregational church most of her life and was an earnest, energetic worker in the church. Besides her daughter, Mrs. L. F. Bushey, she is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Edward Gardner of Freedom and Mrs. Albert Simpson of this city and by six grandchildren
Mrs. L.D. Dallas, formerly Mary E. Gardner, was born in Bloomington, Delaware, Sept. 15, 1827. At the age of 8 years she moved with her parents to Ohio, where she resided until her marriage to L.D. Dallas in 1850. In 1857 they moved to Wisconsin, where they resided in several different places, the last being Appleton, where her husband died in 1894. Although in poor health, his wife survived him for 13 years.

After an illness of only a few days, she departed this life Jan. 13, 1907. The shock of her son's death and her advanced age was the immediate cause of death.

She leaves one daughter, Mrs. L.F. Bushley, of Appleton, and a host of friends and relatives to mourn her loss.
The remains were laid at rest in Appleton, Jan. 15.
