AMSTERDAM EVENING RECORDER, SATURDAY, MAY 17, 1919

Miss Lany Alice Fox, Fort Plain, May 17— Following an illness of several days, of pneumonia, Miss Lany Alice Fox, aged 69 years, died at her home in the Wagners Hollow section of the town of Palatine, late Thursday afternoon. Miss Fox was, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard Fox. She was born in the town of Palatine and had always resided there. She was a member of Mohawk Valley temple, No. 2. Pythian Sisters, of this village, and the Lutheran church of Palatine Church.
Miss Fox is survived by two brothers, William Fox and Myron Fox, of the town of Palatine; also five nieces and one nephew, Rena, Stella, Cora, Nellie I, Julia and Carl Fox, all of the town of Palatine. The funeral will be held from the home on Sunday forenoon at 11 o'clock and will be in charge of the Pythian Sister lodge of this village. The interment will be in the Ephratah cemetery.
