Armeda Lena Bodway, 94, formerly of the Ryan Road, Chateaugay, died Sunday Oct 1, 2000, at Alice Hyde Medical Center, Malone, She had been a resident of alice Hyde Nursing HOme since February 1998. Born in Ellenburg Center, July 23 1906, she was the daugther of amos and Louise LaClair LaBombard. On dec 21 1927 she was married to Thomas F. Boadway in St. Edmunds Church, Ellenburg, He prececeased her on Jun 21 1970. Mrs Boadway was a communicant of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Churubusco. She was also a member of the Altar and Rosary Society and the Catholic Daughters, Cour of Little Rose. Surviving are five sons and four dauthers-in-law. Loyd and Clarinda Boadway, Walter and Marjorie Boadway, Frank and Carol Boadway, and Richard and Lynn Boadway, all of Chateaugya and Aldon Boadway of Shirley, Mass. Six daughters and sons-in-laws, Della and Morris Charette of Cadyville, Joyce and Robert Hough of Moores Forks, Eleanor and Charles Clynes of Temple Hill, Md, Monica and Jerry Tarrant of Dallas, Texas. Sharon and Malcolm Jones of Malone and Patricia and Stephen DuBrey of Chazy; 55 grandchildren; 78 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren. a sister, Mrs. Dewey (Helen) LaClair of Chateaugay; two brothrs and three sister-in-law, Donald and Janet LaBombard of Braindardsville, Harry and Beatrice LaBombard of Merrill and Mrs. Esther LaBombard of Ellenburg Center. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by two grandson, Arthur and James Charett; two great-grndsons Rondald Charette Jr. and A.T. McPherson; a daught-in-law, Donna Boadway; five brothers, Clarence, Delor, Manyard, Herbert and Harold LaBombard; aand a sister, Pearl Miller. Calling hours will be held from 2 to4 and 7 to 9 pm today at the Chateaugay Funeral Home, with a prayer virgil at 8 pm. A funeral service will be held at 11 am Wednesday in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Churubusco, with the Rev. Gilbert Menard prresiding. Burail will be in the parish cemetery. Memorial donatins may be made to the alice Hyde Nursing Home Activity Craft Fund.
