The paratrooper was one of four brothers in the armed services of the nation. One brother, Carl was wounded last July in the South Pacific. The other brothers are Theodore, in the Pacific area & John, also in the same battle area.

This is one of four news clippings I have but according to a son of Carl, it should have stated Carl, Wellington's brother, was in Italy instead of the South Pacific.
