The 1920 Census shows they have moved from Nebraska to North Lancaster, Grant Co., Wisconsin. Now they have Velma, Delbert and Florence.
According to Betty Treadway, their youngest daughter, Pearl's father Alfred had convinced them to move from Nebraska to Wisconsin promising them that the farming was so much better. He apparently lied to them just to get them to move back to Wisconsin. They had a rough time farming in Wisconsin also.
