Merrill Cleaver, age 91, Lowell, passed away Wed., April 17, 1974, at St. Anthony Hospital, Crown Point. Survivors are wife, Jessie; two sons, Paul Cleaver, and Frank Cleaver; three daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Evylin) Powers, Mrs. Barbara Crnkovich, Mrs. George (Mary Ellen) Brooks; 24 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Cecil; and daughter, Alice Lowman. Burial Sat., April 20, at Sanders Cemetery, Lowell.
Mr. Cleaver was a member of the Shelby Christian Church, a member of the Indian Trail Grange No. 2361.
