Cora was the oldest of child of John & Hattie Lisle. She was born in Pymosa Twp. on a farm near Atlantic, Iowa. By the time she was ten, her other siblings had been born. Then her father moved the small family to NE were he built a home in Dixon County. But her father died five years later. Cora continued to live on the North Place with her sisters, two brothers, and mother.
Before her father died, he saw Cora married to Harry Pritchard. Harry maintained several businesses in Laurel over the years including, the first successful steam laundry, installing pumbs, being a well man, and as blacksmith. The couple had two daughters.
Sometime after 1930, Cora went to Roslyn, Long Island. I believe one of her daughters lived there for a time. Cora died there in 1955 and is buried in Laurel where she had lived for many years.
