Daughter of Isaac Sellars & Margaret (Emery) Perkins. She married James Thomas Long on 9 Sept 1855. Ten children born. 1st husband and two children deceased. Surviving are G.J. of Freewater, Okla., Anna M. McCullough, Susan C. Gent, and Laura G. Meade, of Elgin, Oregon; Belle Sevier, South Dakota; Sinah Williams, Henrietta "Etta" Slater,Kline and J.T. Long, Litha, So.Dakota; a brother, P.E. Perkins, Nashua, Iowa. She lived near Browning, Linn County, MO, until fall of 1898, then moved to So. Dakota with her daughter, Mrs. Etta Slater and two children. Buried Horse Head Valley Cemetery. (Information is from The Browning Leader-Record, issue 24 Oct 1912, Browning MO.
