She passed away March 11, 2013 in Canton, TX.

Mrs. Andrews was born March 12, 1926 in Stephens Co., TX, to Josh Augusta and Tommie Sarah Powers Ridling.

Elsie was a member of the Canton Church of Christ. After moving to Tyler she attended Broadway Church of Christ. She loved the church, friends, family and politics.

Surviving are daughter, Pam Andrews of Canton, TX, son, Ron & Chrystal Andrews of The Colony, TX, grandson, J. R. & Trey Tinsley III of Terrell, TX, grandson, Cody Lee Andrews of Colton, CA, 2 nephews, Harlon Poe & James Ray Mathis, several other nieces & nephews.

Elsie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ebbie Andrews, 9 brothers & sisters.
