Linda D.Atkins
FISHERSVILLE - Linda Delores Atkins,43, of 244 Wyndham Hill,died Thursday evening (Aug. 3,1995) in the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville.
She was born July 24,1952, and was a daughter of the late Hiram Thomas Via and Pauline Elizabeth Layne who survives.
Ms.Adkins was employed by the E.I.Dupont Co. in Waynesboro as a spinner operator for seven years.
In addition to her father, who died Jan. 30,1989, she was also preceded in death by a brother,Dale Via,on Oct. 16,1989.
Additional survivors include a daughter,Renee Campbell of Crimora,a son Aaron Ashby Atkins Jr. of Fishersville; three sisters,Loretta Ivey of Tennessee,Betty Louderback of Waynesboro and Sherry Cash of Fishersville; 10 brothers, Howard Via of Stuarts Draft,Harold Via of Florida,Ray Via of Kentucky,Stanley Via of Waynesboro,Steve Via of Tennessee,Bobby Via of Waynesboro,Paul Via of Waynesboro,Rex Via of Waynesboro and Michael Via of Grottoes.
A funeral will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday in the Waynesboro chapel of Etter-Reynolds Funeral Services by the Rev. Bro Denny.
Pallbearers will be Tony Via,Bobby Via, Rex Via,Paul Via,Gene Louderback,Aaron Atkins and Carl Taylor.
Honorary pallbearers will be family and friends attending the service.
The family will receive friends 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
